Ok here goes
I havn't been i nthe hobby long and was at the Academy today learning a bit more when Barnabuy the guy running it suugested we come down for the kill team event
now i tried to ask for advice from one of the guys there and he was stressed and busy and basicly told me to buy the book.
So heres my dilema
Do i take part or do i go down tomorrow and just build paint and try to get a normal game

also if anyone can explain kill team rules in a way that an idiot wouls understand please do
BTW i Play IG if thats any help

Kill team is pretty straight forward in this latest edition. It plays pretty much as the full game with a few figures.

The great thing about playing kill team is you can build your team quickly which means you can make it from races you wouldn't normally collect.

It just so happens we have a couple of threads you might be interested in (if you've not seen them already, if so where have you been?!?)

Poison Chalice - contains kill team basic composition and some cool example teams.

A Spiders Web - more of the above, with a cool spacehulk interior of a ship look to the board.
