With only 2 troops choices your cutting it fine on numbers for Take & Hold scenarios, which is nicely countered with the inclusion of Kantor and Sternguard. Good work. In games where scoring units don't count, Lysander lets you run around with TL Bolters.. Nasty. I'd be tempted to replace the Venerable Dread with an Ironclad.. An AV 13 Beast in your opponents deployment zone on T1 can be evil. Equip him with 2 HK's and drop him with LoS to a tanks rear armour, and it should kill it. (As you won't be able to charge with it on the turn it arrives) As for the Drop Pods, arming them with Deathwind Launchers makes them slightly more of a threat, forcing your opponent to deal with them (hopefully ignoring something more important in the process) Giving them Pie Plate Launchers will also assist with anti-horde detail. With the above changes made, Thunderfire Cannons become sort of redundant. But I see what you were going for with 3 lots of Bolster Defenses ![]() I'd consider a Drop Pode mounted Dev squad with 4 Missile Launchers, and uprate the Tactical Squads with Multi-Melta. Thats my spin on things, but the list you have already does look pretty solid. Edited by Tychonaut, 24 Oct 2011, 12:55 AM.
