It's a shame you're state-side, it'd be awesome to see these at the Ammobunker Bash in March... (Aeven though GW's miniatures policy wouldn't allow it, but you could do a display in the car park, ha! )

+ Firestorm + GW or at least some of their Directors, know us well, and we are no threat to their Retail or IIP in any way . As to the Car Park , well I'll keep it polite ! :-) Not sure where you got the Stateside thing from??? --- Im very much English as the Group are even though I live on the Frontier :-) (the Welsh Border). We do have American mermebers of SWG who recieve our intermittent periodical- "Reports from the Skirmish Line" , mostly expats abroad. Including them, we are about 100 member strong in a loose knit community of 54mm players . The Old Guard in the UK are about a Dozen who regualrly (bi monthly ish) meet and game at Wargame shows or members houses. Where is this March bash by the way ? GW Nottingham ? |

Sincerest apologies I think I made the assumption based on your use of so many action figures, which seem to be easier (and a lot cheaper) to get hold of in the States...As for the Bash, yes it's at Warhammer World, Nottingham, on March 10th. Speak to Old Guard or El Diablo for ticket details. It'd be great to see you there with your figures, in the main hall and not left in the car park!

Well I do enjoy middle ages stuff War of the Roses in fact has to be my favorite from that era seeing that 54mm would be great as well as maybe some ACW stuff or Victorian Era even. As for 40k stuff be really interesting to see a 90mm Space Marine just keep putting stuff up and i'll gladly look at it

Firestorm & Gun Drone... There are just 4 of us producing Figures for 40K. We now have an acceptable amount of IG to at least put out a "side" for 40K. Mikle "Botch" blake is now pitching to introduce an Enemy, As ever we have to build from scratch so the new proposed Enemy that Mike is well on with are Chaos Blood Pact. Mike wants to have a series of 3 linked games based upon Dan Abnetts novel. My issue is that it leaves off many figures we have already done and hardly used , I prefer a rejig to the Idea that allow us to play a wargame as oppoosed to a Skirmish BUT we may not have enough Bad Guys yet. We will see. watch this space. Medieval - OK I"ll post another Historical thread El Cid in the Historical section.[DONE] Space marines are near impossible to do from scratc h being both iconic and very distinctive. Was ruled out early on. Edited by WaynetheDuke, 15 Feb 2012, 09:25 PM.
