Warhammer in 90mm ... Some of Colonel Schaefers last Chancers in Skirmish Wargames groups foray into 40K in 90mm !!! Yes thats not a Typo !! These form some of our 70+ 90mm figures on our IG side. A taster what do you think ?? Starring in an after game shot and left to right as follows :- "Animal" , "Brains", "Demolition Man", "Warrior Woman", the Heavy "0x", the Colonel himself , Rocket girl and her Loader "Fingers" We also have the remaining 4 now complete. All of these are 100% Conversions by the maestro - Mike "Botch" Blake himself and my contribution - Schaefer himself. [Pics taken at this Years Devizes Attack 2011 Show. The last in a series of 3x Linked (Building) games] . ![]() ![]() Oh by the way for those interested thats me the bald guy sat down in the striped T shirt :-( Now some WIP PICS and size comparisons to the 28mm GW Originals First up... Brains'- his finished version is the figure second on the left at the top in the group pic . ![]() and Demolition man ![]() Both figs by the maestro himself ...Botch Wayne "Duke" Millard Edited by WaynetheDuke, 25 Apr 2012, 09:17 PM.

So basically you play 40k, but with bigger models? I like that idea, and going by the pics leads to some really nice sculpting and modelling. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing some more of these. One little tip, if you can, use a photo hosting site like Photobucket or the like for posting pics. Linking pics will put people off looking, which is a shame as they are not to be missed! And welcome to the Bunker! |

Really very interesting to see these models. I know that I for one would appreciate larger, closer pictures, and any WIPs you have! Excellent stuff. |

They look really good!!! something i wouldn't do as it takes me long enough to paint the normal GW models, bigger ones would just take me even longer. |

All, Thanks for the encouraging start . Some Answers... Firstly I was wondering how you place pics directly in! . Any step by step Instructions would be greatly appreciated . I will then get more pics up , both WIP and Finished. We (as a group) have not got round to doing Individual "proper" pics yet , they are generallytaken Post game at a Show and before packing up and in a bit of a rush. All games so far haev been set in the Jungle and In game pics leave alot ot be desired and lots of models being obscured. Enemy ? excellent question - because every figure takes the equivalent in time terms of 4-5 Finished 54mm figs and god knows how many 28mm ones, it has ataken a us a few years to get to this point. The Aim is to have IG on one side led by (coming soon) Witchunters. Yep !! Till now though three linked games have pitted Schaefers Last chancers on a Covert Mission against Loyal IG! This allowed us to get up together the IG side . The IG consist of a small platoon, its Command Group , Ratlings , some different IG in Greatcoats and respirators, Adeptus Mechanicus Retinue and an Ogryn. Oppostion is likely to be ..."mixed" Repeat figures/ brood figures and weapon repeats are constraints in whatever you do At the moment this Mixed bag is LIKELY to consist of the following Tau ( An Ethereal, a Kroot Warband and some Vespid Stingwings). Orks , Buggys and Bikes Human Mercs / Mutants My bit is Tyranids .... Ill try and get a post up with pics when someone tells me how !! :-) Duke |

Very cool stuff! Completely insane but unbelievably cool none the less! ![]() Try uploading your pictures to photobucket then you can insert the image directly to your thread as they have a link option. Failing that use the following code inserting the web address of the picture in place of the insert your image bit.

Duke just told me he'd posted this thread so I've signed up too. Will investigate Photobucket to see if we can post some more photos as requested. How do you mark a thread to get notified of posts, please? |

Lower Right hand corner of page, below the reply box there is a linky tool called "Track Topic". Tracked topics show in your "Preferences" field accessed from the button on the top right of this screen. It is not a perfect tool but the forum is free... :shrugs:

![]() ![]() I did this by opening the picture links in a new window, copy the address bar (http://z1.ifrm.com/2/150/0/p1024143/LC_02_Animal_small.jpg) and then paste it into the IMG link brackets. Not sure if thats the proper way to do it, but it works without a need for Photobucket. (Thats unless it's something that will get us into trouble, in which case a Mod can remove it) |

Thanks Tychonaut!!!!! ! Ill have to give it a try , I did do it the normal way and still could not get the pics in like that So thats Botch Blakes WIP "Animal" front & back . His over exceesiveness with his Eviscerator (all these big E words !) took us on from our first game after he split Fabricatus The Adeptus mechanicus in two! Pic attached again ![]() failed again !!! so attached it as well a ;pic of the AM Fabricatus but Followed Tychonauts advice and hooray - my first correct Pic !!! A £ shop Space figure with 4" Nail as part of his Power axe and Luke skywalkers cloak with a GS Hood & Loin cloth. People seem to like the figure ... he is also rather deadly! he has a Retinue too, 2 x Servitors a Combat servitor and a Weapon Servitor. You can just make out the Weapon Servitor with his Crimsom Multi melta just over the AM's shoulder . ![]() Also cooking on gas now so go back to the top and see the original 4 pics ... Ok next up afew shots of our very first Warhammer 40K-K (the K stands for Kingsize)way back @ Fantizan 2004 @ Newark so yes... 7 years ago !! Bloomin Hell.! Anyway some pics of the game and some of the other LC's in action . This was the first game a raid on a Secret Imperial research facility deep in a Jungle against Loyal IG troops unwittingly protecting an Adeptus Mechanicus doing research work for his own nefarious ends .... The Bunker was an upturned PU glass filled Drainage piece scavenged off where I lived at the same time. EXTREMELY STRONG and Heavy. Turned upside down and detailed roof and doors etc Rocket girl is reasonably easy to see in the foreground . Can you spot Scope ? he's close but camoed up... ![]() ![]() Tthe two new LC's - "Scope" the sniper(very deadly in this first game - not missing any of the sentries at all) and Rocket girl one of the "heavies" who also was on target too. ![]()
