Hi Guys, again i have searched (just so i don't make a tool of myself!!)

When you start a plog, do you just decide which section it goes in and then post it in there?

Does it also matter if most of one of your armies is almost done (it's a guard army so it will never really be done)
and most of the figures are the ' off the shelf figues' and the vehicles have only minor bits added.

I do intend to convert any new models i make (i want to make a chimera version of a fv 434, if it's possible, just need to find something that looks like the hiab arm on the side)

I need to take pictures of said guard army, and also the other stuff i want to show, terrian other armies etc.

Any help most appreciated, cheers

Yep. If you find down the line that you want to switch to (for instance) an Empire army you can contact a friendly Moderator and he(she, we dont have any girl mods yet but you never know) will move it to either "General" or "Fantasy" if you want, or you can start another plog in the relevent section.

No, You are painting and we want to see what you are doing. Also, you may have a unique conversion or paint job that others will want to emulate.

Mmmm... Conversions are good.

Yes please! Put them in your Plog as a guage of where you started from. Dont forget in this case to add pictures to the "Guard Census" thread in General Banter.

Thank's Dean,

That's very helpful, i know what i'm doing for most of my day off tomorrow now then.
Can't promise heavy metal standard, or fantastic pictures but i'll take them anyway.

I would say go for it - your version of straight out of the box will be different to ayone else, and people will appreciate seeing it.

Yep as was said, there is no "rules" per se regarding the model content of a log. I.e. plogs are not just for people to show of conversions or stuff they are working on. Please do start a log with already painted stuff (we haven't seen it yet) as well as stuff you are painting/going to paint. Most of my models are "out the box" as I am not a great convertor, so don't worry about feeling like you have to only show of conversions. But by all means do give it a go if there are things that inspire you to do so!

Well, i've taken some photo's and hope to put them into some sort of photo bucket, so i can then put them into a plog.
The only problem at the moment, is some of the photo's are taken from, quite far away. So i need to take more, of just the individual squads.

I hope to have something up by the weekend

With my camara I tend to take the images from 1-2 ft away with (now) decent lighting, on macro and then crop the image accordingly. May be just my camara but the images still seem to come out huge!
