Well ladies and gents, we finally did it, we won the 'Best Club Contribution' Award, for 2011 Gamesday!

A huge thanks for all those involved this year. The foundations have been laid in the past two years, but we've just been pipped at the post. But this years effort from a combined effort across the globe gave us the award we richly deserved.

Sally-Ann accepted the award, and agreed to look after it:

We had all the design teams visit the table, with even John Blanche offering his views on it:

After John had heaped praise on Charlie, Old Guard tried to bring him back:

Here are some photo's of the table in operation:

Congratulations to you all, fantastic recognition of your brilliant teamwork! Great to see some action shots of the board as well.

You know you've crossed the interdimensional awesomeness line when your work is praised by John Blanche! Congrats!

Just like to say, had a great time helping out, bloomin' wore me out though. Was a great chance to chat to fellow hobbysists and met quite a few people from on here. Even the GW staff seemed genuinely impressed by what we had achieved. Full congrats to everything everyone contributed.

Back home now myself. My knees finally gave out at the services on the way back. None the less, a great day. As Dave said, it was really good to chat with so many of you (more in fact than put their name down to say they were coming!) and indeed to hopefully, a few new members we picked up today.....

Was indeed great to be a part of this (even though I had to get up at half 6 this morning :-( ), fantastic to know the standard of everyone's work has been recognised by workshop too. Puts the pressure on for next year though ;-)

Pleasure meeting some of you today, always feels like these events fly by on the day, but seems like you lot running the game really brought the joy of the Ammobunker to the masses. Great job guys.

I have to say, this was an excellent turnout for 4 months and 10 days worth of work. I checked when Digits started the 'ASW' thread. Seriously, start bantering ideas around now for '12.
....
40k Olympics?

Nah.
