Hey guys its been a while since I've posted on here and thought you might like to see our Warlord commission. We will hopefully catalog our progress till the end of the commission. This is Green_Ranger's and my 4th Warlord titan and we already have a 5th in the works for the same client (which is going to the U.A.E). Here is some early work in progress photos from about two months ago: This is the "master" of the foot before we cast it: ![]() Here is a final resin foot: ![]() Construction of the legs, waist plate, and body struts with cast feet and knee joints: ![]() Rear shot of basic leg detail: ![]() And, a shot of the main body construction and top plate: ![]() Construction of the titan is all done out of MDF covered in .040 plastic card, or our resin cast pieces which include the feet, knees, waste, leg armor plates, the head and minor details. We will be magnetizing the carapace weapons (apoc missile launchers and turbo lasers) and the arm weapons will be swap-able via a pin system (two melta cannons, a plasma destructor, and a gatling blaster). Mock up of the top vents, and basic arm structure:[/SIZE] ![]() Basic leg detailing: ![]() Mock up of the back detail: ![]() And were we are right now in the building process: ![]() Here it is in color so you can see what's resin and whats plastic: ![]() We will be detailing and painting this one to match a Grey Knight army (silver with gold and red accents). Let us know what you think and hopefully we will have an update at the end of the week. Edited by Great_Destroyer, 15 Aug 2011, 02:13 AM.

I guess it comes apart into bits for shipping? That is pretty awesome work there, really looking forward to seeing it finished up with weapons and painted up. Have you any pictures of the others you have built so we can get an idea of what they look like when finished? |

Yeah, the body comes off from the legs, as well as the arms will be removable. We have pictures from our old ones, when out of work I will post some. |

Matyilinko, what's more impressive is that he's buying two from us. Here are some quick pictures of past ones, as you can see they have gotten better over time: (Don't have any of the very first one) ![]() ![]() Here is also a quick video of the third one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edIJrj8f_iQ |

Sweet Jesus! $1500... that is epic. All three four look awesome, though I'd prefer a bit of armor on the inner calf, even though the originals don't have it. The scale is immense! And I do like the addition of the rim on the armor plates for the second (third?) one. Thats a nice touch. |

What amazes me most along with the beautiful build is actually the price. _Only_ 1500 USD? Will your client paint it or the price includes that as well?

Can only echo what the others have said in that its a brilliant build, looks very true to the epic version and as Marovian has said one of the better if not best titan scratch builds i've seen. sounds like you produce them regularly? How many have you made and much does it weigh? Edited by Xepher, 21 Aug 2011, 09:27 PM.

Thanks for the replies. This is our 4th titan and we now have commissions for the 5th, 6th and possibly a 7th. Haven't weighed this one yet, but its upwards of over 20 -30 pounds I'd say. |
