Arch lector, on war alter with sword of battle, armour of silvered steel & van horstman speculum Level 2 wizard with grey wand Engineer Captain with army stand and armor of meteoric iron. 30 Flangellants, with prophet 10 Huntsmen 41 Halberdiers with full command. Det: 8 Handgunners & 20 Swordsmen 1 mortar 2 great cannon 4 Golgfag's Ogres So, some extra info on my selection. So it might make more sense. In the center I keep my anvil unit. A 41 +1 strong unit (Halberdiers with BSB) in a 7 * 6 composition. With their swords near if the enemy center looks strong, else on a flank if their are special enemy flankers. Next to the center block, will be the arch lector. As a leadership bubble and encouraging the men. Next to this will the ogres be. They have leadership 8, which isn't to bad for ogres. But one more, is always better... This 3 blocks (units) will keep my center. A defensive group. The artillery will hunt down the strongest units in the enemies army. Flangellants will keep the strongest flank of the enemy, hopefully keeping it and holding out long enough. The huntsmen will be their the harass the enemies rear, their artillery... What are your thoughts on this? |

I don't see any cavalry wouldn't you want a fast moving unit to plug any holes? |

Well, I have a chariot for that purpose ( the war altar). I don't think empire cavalry isn't that good at the moment, or at least with my experience. If I expand the army, I might go for a unit of 7 Pistoliers. More for the fun, then there hitting power. |

Because he will get no equipment, no fancy shooting stuff. Just him, everything else, costs points and isn't usefull. |

At the very least you should arm him with a Hochland Rifle. The ability to snipe things like Grey Seers from their Screaming Bell is too good a power to ignore.. Remember, when it happens.. I told you so
