Well, I decided to do something a bit different. Very early stages at the mo...This will be the command tank for my army. Based of the Mig Prodcution Kv-x2 made by FichtenFoo.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited by Tinners, 7 Apr 2011, 11:24 PM.

Hey, it reminds me also a bit of the tanks of "ghost in the shell". great work, like all your other stuff, but i'm not sure, that it will fit. the only stalker-tank in a tracked army?! |

I've never seen ghost in a shell so cant say, but I do believe the model its based on, is itself based on ghost in a shell. Or at least that kind of anime tank. It'll be in the army mainly as an excuse, because I like the model, but didn't want to pay out £60 for the 1/35th Kv-x2 kit, so decided to make a ragnarok based on it. |

Very smooth as always mate, I'd have liked alittle bit more of animation in the legs pose. |

Very nice mate, well executed so far. I agree with Sheep, but short of using a base for stability with some stuff for it to be posed on, getting something dynamic yet stable will be tough. Just a thought, seeing as this is an experimental tank why not give it an unusual weapon such as an Executioner plasma gun or Eradicator cannon? Just a thought as to how it'd be truely unique. Dave out. |

It was planned to be poseable, however getting the balance to stop it tipping over was dificult, and as dave said, short of adding a base it. Might be too hard. I was thinking maybe the plasma variant, but dunno if I cba making the gun, and don't have the money to order one. |

Surely it'll take you, like, an hour? Or if you're feeling lazy and poor why not ask around on bitz hunter? A few folk have bought the new demolisher kit so you might get a spare. Dave out. |

Because I'd like to make it like the plastic one, so it'd have to be perfect, and require lots of sanding, etc. And again, no money, and not many bits to trade. |

Heh, if I had one you could have it for free mate. Sadly I don't, so my generosity counts for nothing. . . Dave out. |

very nice tank, you ever thought of making moulds of your P card tanks as im sure people would be willing to buy casts of them. how long do it normally take you to make the basic shape for somthing like this? |

As I said in your other plog, this is awesome. And I'm picking up a demolisher kit or two this week and you're more than welcome to the Plasma Cannon if you want it? |

Brilliant mate! I guess because you don't "game" you don't have to worry about effectiveness of the weapon combo, though it is certainly cinematic. I like how the heavy flamer is mounted on a gimble, very nice use of the search light. |

Cheers, its actually one of the lights from the CoD kits, rather than asearch light, was a bit of a random thought and turned out to work alright. And yeh, I dont game so dont care about the weapon load out, lascanon/heavybolter/etc looked too big from the hull, so went with the flamer. |

Dont use templates I'm afraid...I made a rough cut based off photos of the kvx2 by ficthenfoo for the legs and worked from there. As for the turret its just an enlarged version of the ragnarok one. Sorry guys. Scale shot: ![]() ![]() |
