Right, been away due to work/personal issues. And I've got a major airsoft event coming up with the lads, so this log will be showing the rebuild and conversion of 1:1 models of modern weaponry. I may also work on a fully working laz-rifle If your unsure of airsoft, here you go! ![]() Me with the M249 ![]() Bigbadcol with his FN Scar ![]() minigwar with his M4 ![]() Springy666 with his GR-16 |

Be interesting to see some full size work instead of the miniatures we're used to playing with. Welcome back mate.

About time we got a Jase log up and running. I'm with El D, full size weapons are just as cool as toy soldiers. |

Good to see you're back Jasey boy, hows life been treating you? Will the weapons in here be purely personal, or will you be featuring purchases/refurbs for others too? Dave out. |

yes, but you can get reflex imitations that work fine for the purposes of airsoft for the fraction of the price... if you want to MilSim some websites sell the Gucci "real steel" models with lasers and infared lasers in them ![]() Airsoft is something i want to get into, its like paintballing but more fun and cheaper

Good to see you're still alive mate. Wish we could actually do anything like this in Australia, stupid over reactive/protective gun laws ![]() The CADPAT looks good too, Gropius did something similar to it in a log on the "other place" |

Lots of questions! Eotechs are two eyes open operation so it doesn't matter where you mount it on the rifle, its not a sight, but an aiming device. Unsure about other peoples weapons yet, screwing up a 500 quid weapon would scare the crap out of me. OG, I might swap the full stock on the 249 for the Para stock, make life alot easier! |

I think hes planning on a x4 eotech magnification to be mounted further back. Sam is the squad DMR so he doesn't do that much running, he has time to sit and aim. My standard rifle is the G36, with M4's and a TAVOR as back up. I also have an SPR as a sniper, but alot of sites wont allow it due to its power! Josh has a Magpul Masada with a silenced MP5 as back up Will has a AK74 RIS with M4 as a backup. Sam his GR-16, he nicks a shotgun as a back up usually. We also have in the armoury, AKMS, M4, M249, M50 bolt action sniper and 2 SPAS 12's for building storming. Everyone has pistols as sidearms. |

Dave it is pretty common to have them mounted foward, usually though you would have some sort of magnifier that would sit behind it, although they should sit much closer to the back end of the rail. Edit - Ninja'ed by jase.

SOOO jealous, course I'd rather the real things though you can't shoot them at people, and have a beer with them afterwards.
