One tiny nitpick though, it may sound a bit anal and its probably already been discussed. The German camo stripes could do with being a bit thicker.

Ah, didnt realise. Thanks for the pointer. Wont change them as I'm too lazy but will keep it in mind for later vehicles.

Just to add, there was a huge variation in German camo patterns, it could have been applied by spray-gun (most common option) but brooms, rags and other things were also used and camo was generally applied by the crew, all resulting in a wide range of patterns - so you can have the lines as thick as you like.

Basically if you're happy with thin lines there's no historical reason to change, it all comes down to personal preference with German vehicles :)

Nice to see some updates in here, looking forward to playing with more gates eh Mike?

Well, today I finished the panzerschrek addition for my command HQ, and as it's not in my BoB list for points reasons, I thought I might as well stick it here.

And here's the unit all together-

And in preparation for a game or two this time next week, I've built my second infantry platoon- took bloody ages!

(there's no need for anyone to point out that as they're GP Panzergrenadiers I've still got to build another halftracks: I've pretty much had enough of [wow, someone needs a cool-off period]ing halftracks).

Surprising how long it takes to make a couple of bases of FoW!

Looking good mate. Really like the stowed panzershreck in the half-track.

Dave, like I said to Dave38, do eet. You know you want to. People to play with locally, cool looking WWII stuff that we all love at heart. Just pick a side!

Mate, I think it is just a question of when. My dad has been round today and green lighted the home brew garage conversion, so in about 8-10 weeks I should have useable space with a 6x4 gaming table in it. Once I've got some terrain and reduced the GW moutain of unpainted mini's I shall be getting some late war Germans. Just need to find an opponent.

Dave- I'm up for a game whenever, seeing as I've got near enough 1000 pts built/painted, pretty happy with the rules and I've got the late war German list, but no main rulebook- only issue is it'd be jerries vs jerries (which isn't a huge issue, if not very historic!)

Plus Feengit & I are about regularly and Feengit has all his own terrain! Win!

Must build those 'werfers I've got sitting around ready for games against Feengit next week.

Captured Panzers v's infantry maybe? Is well documented that Ruskies used German tanks to get in amongst the Germans before opening fire.
Plus, its only a game..... ;)

Looking good Rise.

I have been neglecting mine recently, got 6 Lloyd carriers more or less done, but I just cba. They are a bit boring to paint really. Once they are done though I can paint something more interesting. I really should make some headway with the two infantry platoons I have to paint......

Exactly where I am with my inf company Kayvann. Had the mojo to build it but has stopped since then. Hoping to get some filler down so I can spray them before gaming early next week.

Right, well I've been gone a while from here and ironically I'm about to go again but this time rather more forced than my general laziness.

So the last time I posted on cough*20 Feb 2011*cough I'd painted:

British Infantry Coy HQ
1 x Infantry Platoon
2 x Sherman Troop
4 x 25 Pounders + Arty HQ
4 x 3" Mortars
2 x M10 Tank Destroyers

Since then I've painted the following and will take and post pics in the next few days if I get bullied enough by Vogt:

2nd Infantry Platoon
3rd Sherman Troop
Sherman Squadron HQ, 2ic and recovery tanks
4 more 25 Pounders
2 snipers

and.... a Typhoon which I've actually managed to finish painting today and have actually taken a photo of:

Before you ask, yes the black and white lines were the most god awful thing to paint I've ever attempted and if you want my advice.....just don't bother, it is just too annoying!

C&C welcome

Looks good though mate, really like the camo, shame one of those lines isn't straight though

*jokes* :D

Consider this the first bit of bullying to get pics of the rest up. Game pics from next weekend might be an idea...

Bully! Moi?! Thats rich coming from Mr Gentle-cajoler yourself!
Is about time the good people (and others ;) ) here got to see some more of your Brits. They have come one nicely since last time.
Like I've already said, Typhoon looks ace. Totally worth all of the effort you've put in. Just be glad you only have to have one painted these days rather than 3!
Now go and take pics of more! Especially that disgusting line up of all 8 25pdrs!

The Typhoon looks really good. I think the D-Day stripes came out well. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
