Roesor you read my mind, does depend who gets first turn and how my opponent sets up. And at the end of the day it comes down to the fickle whims of the dice gods. You could have a squad of terminators against a grot and still roll nothing but ones. |

If you are lucky you'll destroy 1 veichle or a few troops, and if you're opponents are anything like me, as soon as they see your drop pods they'll reinforce their back line (I have two dreads one with furious charge or tank hunter) meaning that you've delivered 2 KP into enemy hands on your first turn but as you said, it all comes down to fate and whatnot in the end. Lemme know how it works. I'd do Blood angels if my captain could have artificer armour. Found the best way with squads is to have two chars in it, one eternal warrior and with 2 + saves. Stops krak missles and such whittling away at you. Edit: When you drop in your dread, if close enough, put it behind your pod and give it a cover save. Edited by Roesor, 1 Sep 2010, 11:03 PM.
