Is it just me or did Lemen Russ come across as an arse in Thousand Sons?

He did, however i felt that Magnus came out as an even bigger arse "i have no limits" i mean come on, how are we supposed to Sympathise with a character like that

Yeah but what did you expect from the Primarch of the Space Wolves. I think all the Primarchs in the Horus Heresy books come across as a bit arsey.

Currently listening to Ravens Flight, Corax seems ok so far.

Magnus is up his own arse about his power (that changes I hasten to add).

So far the only ones i have liked is Sanguines and Dorn although Dorn was a bit rough at points.

Just about all the anti- guilleman, different codex obeying primarchs appear to be arses, O.o Except for Sanguinus, but he was like...y'know, an angel >_> But russ did agree to go to town on magnus aawffullly quickly if I recall =, course I've only read collected visions.
Wish I had money for books :(

I felt sorry for Magnus, it seems he realised he was the chosen one to take over the Emperors realm too late. I've loved the Alpha twins, they went the wrong way for the right reasons
