not sure about the venerable dreadnought. from the standard pic (before you click on it) it looks like it has links of gold tracks in its front plates. better than the siege dread (forgotten its name) but i still think the standard one is nicer. if i want a proper venerable dreadnought, i'll go to FW. ork stuff looks good though

The new Venerable was a great move on their part. The old one looked like it was designed by Liberace. |

Ork stuff is fantastic. Definate improvement on the old ones. The SM dread is nice as well, but I still prefer the FW ones. |

At least the chimera is only £20 (£28 with accessories though! )The basilisk is VERY dissapointing though. Where are the options for medusa etc we were told about. This one does have the accessories sprue so new new commander or deck crew. Yawn! What an anticlimax! |

Echoing Digit's comments on the Bassie box. Such a disappointment! New Ork Dread is also a little bit of a let down. Looks more like a looted Battlesuit. And is £30!! Kans are very nice though. And very pleased about the price and lots of options! Random Flash Git is very nice though. If random.... |

Hmmmm, considering GW's recent run of plastic kits I must say I'm fairly impressed. Some real converting potential on them sprues. Dave out. |

Excepting the FW ones, this is the nicest SM dread since the original sculpt IMO. The Ironclad was inelegant and the metal ven dread was just wrong. But I already have more dreads than is sensible so I'll pass. The IG stuff is a bit dull, as said above. I like the new hunter-killer though. The flash git is... fine. I like the targeter squig, but I'll be making me own. The ork dreds are sex on legs. I was a bit uncertain about moving away from the classic drum design but they have really pulled it off. The kans are irresistable, I will buy three and then start thinking about whether to buy kans. The Deff Dread is awesome but at £30 rather more resistable. Would I rather have that or another trygon? Or another three kans? |

Well I have to buck the trend and I don't like the look of the new ork stuff. Looks pretty horrible to me, almost abig step backwards. it could just be the way the dreads are painted and seeing someone do a nice paint job on them could change my mind. SM dreads pretty good, although would prob still go to FW for one. |

i'm likin the ork dredds, - plasticard hoo! reminds me a bit of Mongrol. and for a plastic kit, the marine dread is cool, i think its what it should have looked like from the start, that new P Fist looks ace- like the old Epic ones |

Love the new venerable dread, love the ork stuff, and im absolutely blown away by the basilisk. I mean its almost the same model! And its five quid less cheap! WOW!!!! at least it does I just took a vow never to buy a basilisk again. I dont need to when i can buy a chimera, rip the sides off it, build a cab and buy some brass tube for the gun. just having a look at the dreadnought kit - i didnt realise how damned complicated they looked! having 2 of the 7/8 piece dreads from black reach i had no idea they came in so many pieces, even if some are spares. looking back at the dread, i quite like the ornate twin lasscannon barrels, and the 'ornate' power fist does look a massive load better than the normal one |

That Chimera kit is not as bad as I thought - though the accessory sprue is a sad loss. Gutted about the Basilisk, where is the enclosed cab and all the other options? If they are, as previously stated, going to build every model in the guard codex in plastic, then there is still a lot more to come, and I would have expected some of those options to be in this kit. |

Want. Kans. Nine of them. That kit is absolutely fantastic, I'm not sure about the dread back though - why is it so high at the end? It looks a bit odd, I was quite fond of the old shape and was hoping for something similar. Also, as far as the Basilisk is concerned - most of the rumour mills have been saying for about a month or two that it would just be the bassie kit on its own, no extras. Tepok |

Not a fan of the dread, the back just looks weird. Kans are nice tho, gonna pick a set of them up. |
