Its in the wrong forum, but I'll try and help ![]() In 1000pt games, you don't want Basilisks. You want more Leman Russes to get as much AV14 in the enemies face as possible. Lemans Russes offer more viable moving ordanace then Basilisks, and since you can field them as troops, so much the better for capturing objectives. The list is not clear in how amny tanks there are in your squadrons or what type they are. For 1000pts, just stick as many Leman Russes as possible, and stick a couple of Armoured Fist squads to capture objectives. In higher points games, just add more Leman Russes (Standard or Demolisher) and Armoured Fist squads to taste. Basicly, spam tanks. Cheers, DK |

Death Korp: He posted it here as well I would personally disagree with your choices, partly because you can only capture objectives with infantry, and partly because the ability to reach out and put a template anywhere on the table is incredibly useful. |

"1000" points!? Sorry bud, but guard ain't guard under 5000 points!!!!!! However, a little advice from me. At such a small amount, every point counts. I wouldn't take sponsons at such a point total as they will hardly ever get used on a standard russ. By all means take a punisher with bolter sponsons if you are likely to face hoardes / infantry. Basilisk is fine, but truth be told, one manticore will do the job better and throw a lot more hurt down range. |

Have more demolishers even though shorter range it is more powerful and a better back armour value. |

back armour doesnt really matter with russes as most of the time they will be facing the enemy, and combat wont really happen against them. Unless your facing Abbaddon or Marneus Calgar (aka pappa smurf). in which case the tanks doomed either way. However, Demolishers really bring down the hurt on terminator armoured opponents. |
