Whilst deciding on the rest of the army, I found a couple of vehicles to act as transport for the drone squad and the K9 squad: One from Fenris games and one from Daemonscape on E-Bay. The Fenris APC is having a few doors and ramps added to it but the other one will be used as it comes. |

This is all of the eleven mechs finished: I have 4 transports, 8 troops and 15 clankers to go and the army is complete. The army is effectively finished once I have sorted out three of the transports...the rest will be done slow time. I started this project 31st January 2009...two years nearly and only a couple of bits to go

I guess it's somewhat bittersweet once a project reaches completion. I also guess that most modellers never manage to experience that feeling!  What've you got planned next for the Grymm? |

...fantasy Grymn...I think they are called Dwarfs ... I have a small group of Hasslefree fantasy Dwarfs and some GW LotR Dwarfs that should match them quite well. After all the Grymn I have painted over the last couple of years I think I've earned a change. Then it will be the Urban Grymn (I have the army all ready to start... ).However, before I get to all that, I still need to finish the specialist units which will mean that I need to finish 4 transports, 15 Clankers and a few troops to pad out the final unit (it has the OGrymn and a few officers in it). The army pics are just of the basic troops. Once I finish the last of the specialist units, they will get a pic of their own  .

Finished drone squad and transport: ALL of the licence plates will be re-painted and decals will be used to replace the woeful markings that are there at the moment. I will get other decals to mark all of the vehicles with insignia and warnings. |

Yep, it has taken an awful lot of patience to get this far... but the end is in sight . The silver is easy (boltgun metal/devlan mud wash) so it isn't so bad I only have ten Clankers to paint mostly silver and that will be the end of it. The two vehicles will have a small amount of silver but no where near the same scale as the troops/mechs. I can see the issue becoming "are you fed up with painting grey" soon... continuing with my Urban Army is the next task... and that is a huge mass of grey
