I was filling in to be honest. I'd originally had an hounor guard along with Mephiston but it just didn't work and it was ridiculously expensive for a unit that died that easy, hence wanting terminators for good armour and invunerables, and the 36 range psycannons were shiny, specially against demons, but 300 points is just too much. But I realised I had some undercoated, unused terminators in my Templar case so I put them in instead with my new assault cannon and I'll add a cyclone missle launcher if I can find that deathwind launcher from my drop pod. Also got another missle launcher for my devestator squad, still not used to having them. Considering outing the Furioso entirely for now and putting the 5 man termie up to a ten. It's become a target for every heavy weapon in an army and even with the venerable re-rolls it's getting totalled frequently. My recent decision to make BA/Templars means I've got more options anyhoo. What does everyone have against Grey Knights anyway? Every time Ive had them in an army there have been...comments...and yet they're usually the last thing standing on the odd occasion I get slaughtered and they're exceptional for shooting with 24 range assault weapons AND close combat with all 5 WS and 6 strength as well as fearless, shrouding and the aegis suits. Only thing I can find wrong with them is that they are overly expensive...they were also far too bright with the chainmail silver, but that was easily solvable. Simply don't have enough JP models, so instead of a ten man assault I changed them to Death company , but since I don't use my hounour guard I guess I could steal their JP and the 5 man assault squad from my Templars. |
