42 is no age at all, it's truly awful news. He was a great guy, and our sincerest condolences go out to his friends and family.

For someone to die at such an early age is always a great shame. I am sure he will be greatly missed byhis family and the Warseer community.

Can people keep the forum rules in mind before they post anything in this thread.

After previous commemorative threads have degenerated which resulted in that break the forum rules I am giving this friendly warning now that it will not be allowed to happen again.

If you don't want to post anything appropriate then please do not post at all.

Amazingly, nothing on Warseer! Perhaps they don't know yet?

The guy was spot on for news and rumours. As others have said, a sad loss.

Edit: Nope, was wrong. Just found it.

A crying shame. It was his rumour roundups that got me using forums in the first place. Sad news indeed. Even sadder the fact we share an age.

I'm genuinely shocked by that. Brimstone has been a cornerstone of 40k rumour mills for years and it is very sad to hear that he's passed on.

Wow, such a shame for his family, and as has been said, especially sad given the time of year. I never met him, but always thought that on Warseer he was one of the nice mods, and was good for rumours etc too.

I remember him from the old Portent site. Such a shame, I used to look for his posts deliberatly in thr rumour threads as he was always on target.

My thoughts go to his family and close friends, as do all of his friends from the interweb.

Rest easy Jon.
