I have wondered for a long while now whether we have some members who do not speak English? If we do, and it is stopping you from posting, please feel free to use an internet translator like Babelfish http://uk.babelfish.yahoo.com/ We are not so worried here about poor English (exept for Brambleten - who likes to pick up on my poor spelling ) and we'd love to hear from you and indeed see your work.Of course, if you don't speak English, you probably haven't a clue what I'm saying! So, I'll use it myself to get my point across.....

What? The use of a hyphen in place of a comma, semi-colon or even a colon. The use of hyphens in the middle of sentences is deplorable at best and horribly over-used at worst. Still, good idea Digits. Assuming we don't get some silly literal translations out of it. Dave out. |

I applaud the idea and think it could lead to some very interesting posts. I tried running your message through the automatic translator a few times to see the sort of thing we can expect: I have wondered for a long while now whether we have some members who do not speak English? If we do, and it is stopping you from posting, please feel free to use an internet translator like Babelfish English to Chinese, Chinese to English: I want to know the Daoist priest now a while we whether to have some members who does not speak English? If we, and it stops you from the contribution, please use a Internet translator who looks like Babelfish English to Chinese, Chinese to English: Whether I do want to know now the Daoist priest does not speak English a while we to have some members? If we and it stop you from the contribution, please use looks like a Babelfish Internet translation etc, etc.

Wait, what am I doing? I'm an American. Does saying "ya'll" instead of "you all" count as a language? I do have some southern accent tendencies... |

No S*** I loathe that! I see that in France and I just disown them and remember that I came 5 years short of becoming a French national and just pretend that I am. the arrogance of the Anglo saxon (or in the case of the american: Anglo, celtic, germanic, italian, Dutch, Saxon) is stunning!
