I think that you lack some serious heavy weapons. Something like a lascannon, plasmacannon and some of the other big weapons. You need those! Melta bombs are very risky for your own troops and not always that reliable. So, shrink your squads a little and add some armor or devastators. |

Heh, I would LOVE to. Templars don't have devestator squads. That means one heavy weapon in a 5 man squad, i did that for a while but the lascannon kept failing to hit and pen repeatedly and having that small unit has lost me two matches before now. |

The only comment I have is on the Grey Knights. I have personally experienced that the combo of psycannon and Incinerator in the same squad doesn't pay off. If I take psycannons I go for the heavy support slot (4 psycannons and I Justicar). And for the Incinerator I go for the close combat squad. But not mixed up. This is my preference though. |

In fact I found that myself. For the same points I get 5 Grey Knight terminators with TWO psycannons. The Grey knight squad, basically, looks pretty O.o And i've found is exceptionally useful if you should be facing off against a demon. They very recently killed a Bloodthirster, the flamer and the psycannon were pivitol, but the lack of invunerable saves in both my Templar army and my Blood Angels armies has been my downfall, at least with terminators there is less of a chance of having to take them in the first place, and they actually have one, I'm actually getting better (and longer ranged as they fire their cannons as heavy weapons range 36) firepower from them, and more attacks per person making up for the three man loss. To be honest I think I should just make a full Daemonhunters army and get them out of my system. My main concern is that if they come up against anything with better than 12 armour (e.g. an ironclad) they are royally screwed unlike regular termies. I would have a normal tactical dreadnought squad with assault cannons, but it is the removal of invunerable saves I was primarily after. To summarise, you are correct they were shiny lookin' but unsuitable. In he right circumstances, against a pack of demons or an ork mob they would be ideal, high ws and strength with plentiful shooting previous to a charge, and addmitedly the last two matches I drew with, was only because I had two grey Knights left. In fact there was a '500 pts of heavy support' match and my psycannon and justicar were the only surviving models out of the whole lot, including a carnifex and a trygon or somesuch. Also unless I make a DAemonhunters army I am restricted to a max of three psycannons per squad, two in the squad and one with the Justicar, as you cannot select heavy support to add into a list from another army.
