Seriously, that's the GD mini? I suppose it makes a nice change from marines but I'm not too keen on it myself.

i thought last year's was a chaos exalted champion?

im not keen on it either, although it is probably better than any of the other chaos sorcerer models out there, apart from the mounted Ltd edition one (cant remember exactly what it was, but im sure it was ltd ed)

quite a fan of this actually, would be nice to see a non marine 40k one for the first time in however many years...

Dave this years was a Fantasy Chaos Champion....

And I like this, even though I am not a fantasy player, I like it.

I like, think it could be used as a psyker for my renegade guard.

I think they should have used that white dwarf in space mini or go with a different race other than marines or chaos.
Could be that they see them both as the top selling products I guess.

I thought the same thing. Little bit of conversion work and he would fit right in. I quite like.

I love it, it has a old-school fantasy vibe to it.

The eye in the palm of his hand is a nice touch too (Pan's Labrynth anyone?) :)

Being a staunch marine guy, I agree that they could try and do another faction. I do not collect guard but it would be nice to see what they would come up with.

That sorcerer would make a cool renegade psyker though with a bit of conversion.

I....no, I don't like that. I like elements of it. I like that his horns make the shape of the Tzeentch icon, I like the eye in his hand but somehow that doesn't hang together.

It's the first GD mini I've not even been remotely interested in this century. It's just...nasty. I can't exactly put my finger on it. I think maybe it's the paintjob but looking at it I don't think so. It's odd. It's a really busy miniature with loads going on but somehow it's still completely bland.
