I think they are good. Better from a discounted online store even for savings wise. I'll pick up the Orky one most likely. |

If the Marine one didn't have a dread in it, or an Ironclad instead, I'd consider getting it. As is, I think I'll pass. Khrangar |

For what they are intended to be they aren't bad. You buy the marine one and you have your troops covered, transport and fire support. You just have to add in a character blister and the army is legal and a decent size. It's no coincidence that the release is just pre-christmas so people can ask for a whole army in one go. Probably not aimed at the more experienced audiences who would rather customize what they get. But as mentioned, good value if you get them from a discount online retailer |

They are also sort of intended as "all-in-one" army expanders are they not? So for those with a base army already, get one of these and instantly increase its size. Or as has been said, add a character, HQ choice, and it becomes a decent sized army in one shot. I wouldn't get one as I never have that much money spare to spend on models, but its a cool idea, and it worked before did it not. |

Yeah! And all the Apocalypse Sets, that would also have been ace Hopefully we will get Armageddon (New Expansion for 40k) that will include more new sets that are completly overkill!

I would like em to reissue the Battlesuit box set. That was funky. Not so much the Hammerhead one but the Battlesuit one for sure. |

Not too bad value, especialy as has been said, you get it from an online store. The Ork one is perhaps less attractive, 9 bikes seems a bit too much to me. |

Mm, good for what you get. Is it bad that I no longer consider £100 a lot to spend on miniatures in one go? That said I won't be buying any of these. -voiceofthewarp |

Mmm, certainly, if I had millions it wouldn't matter, but as a hobby, I sometimes wonder, when I no longer consider £100 a lot to pay for the right mini, haha, I've bought the Heresy Dragon already, and I thought that was pretty reasonable, oh the joys of having money, although, due to said Dragon, and some other bits and pieces, including £300 worth of Walnut wood, not so much money is had at the moment, soon to be amended however, hopefully. I just feel a bit jaded ![]() Haha -voiceofthewarp |
