Hi guys, I'm just letting everyone know that the Painting Masterclass section is now up, if not exactly running yet... If you have a pile of FW resin in front of you and no idea where to start or fancy doing your favourite miniature the justice you feel it deserves, but aren't sure where to start then hopefully we can help. As I mentioned though, we've yet to start rolling and what we need is volunteers. So follow the link, read the guidelines and make us on the Masterclass team busy. Above everything else we wan't two things to come out of this, beautiful miniatures and ultimately a lot of fun. Alonsi! Ricky |

This really is a great chance for ANY of us, no matter how long in the hobby to improve our skills and learn new techniques, pretty much brush stroke by brush stroke. Please do check the link in Ricky's post. Who is prepared to take up the first challenge I wonder........?

Very good, cheers Ari - always nice to gave Demon winners! Well, pretty sweet, we have our first couple of guineapigs! Can we please ask that if you look in at their "classes", that you don't post in them. Many thanks. |

I'm going to stick one up when my renegade ogryn turns up in the post (hopefully next few days). It's a great model and I really want to do it well having seen a few fanatstically painted ones on here by certain people. Would be good to get some really good advice from the top peopl on here. BTW I think this hole masterclass thing is a fantastic idea so well done to you guys who thought it up. It's a really good thing for this forum to do and the sort of thing that I love about this place and why I don't post anywhere else! |

Only four days in and already we have a good number of "pupils" starting their masterclasses. Really looking forward to seeing the first finished models (take your time though guys!). Interested in first impressions though...... |

i think i'll just stick to watching what other people have to ask about then get mentored on, as this sounds like a very good way of pooling a lot of talented people's efforts in one place

From reading (not taking part yet, but who knows, I might when it comes time for me to step up to do something new) I'm really impressed so far, its really shows off how much this is a community and how sharing people are with their skills and experiences - especially as it really can take confidence and support to help try something new. The tutorials are already great and this takes things a step further as well as helping build the community here. Especially since being logs a lot of others like myself can learn even when we don't take part. I suspect I'll be back.. maybe for my first GS attempts, or when I get an airbrush.
