The idea is that if it's all done in forum then it also acts as a resource. That's why extraneous posts from any but the OP and relevant tutors are being kept out of the relevant threads. Sort of useless if it goes off forum. I think Mawas getting ready to go if you wanna get in there Wolvie.

Captain Wolverine - the Skype idea is great... we could even use internet cameras to show some staff at the same time!!! It wold work with me because my english sometimes comes in the way of expressing my thoughts. Skype could be a great addition to Masterclasses. Mawa if you don't mind I will follow your Masterclasses expirience! Good luck and hope it helps! |

I wasn't suggesting going off forum with stuff, just that you can get the instructions on the forum to help everyone, but something like skype (whatever the hell that is ) or MSN would be good for the minute details so you don't get 400 posts of "How much superglue do you use" over and over.

I have never had a problem with entering the comps even though I knew I was up against ( imo ) "masters". With me It was a timescale issue. Building something that was not part of my current project, that and it encroaching on pesky real life stuff kept forcing me to pull out. But having a regular single mini comp would fit nicely, and would serve as brilliant learning curve for me and I suspect others on AB. As you could take a mini from a current project and lavish a full month on it. Taking on board new techniques that you've seen from other participants. That is the whole point of a competition. To learn, adapt and overcome. |
