I made these during the last week for a competition that I am competing in this weekend (a requirement for the competition is that you bring along 3 objectives no bigger than 40mm)

I like the one with the fuel can all on it's own with the back pack. But nice work all round.

First of all thanks for the positive comments. The counters were made by adding a layer of terracotta modelling clay on top of a 40mm base.

The chequering on the metal plates was made by rolling the handle of one of my sculpting tools across the clay. The tool has an area of chequering on the handle to facilitate gripping that gives a nice texture to soft clay.

The tiles were made by drawing out the lines with a GW sculpting tool and then using a clay shaper to properly form the lines in between the tiles. I then dabbed the clay with a sponge just to give it a bit of a texture

love the little tool kit, This is a side of the hobby some people neglect but its nice to see some nicely modelled objectives. Will probably borrow the chequred texturing effect.

I have some that Im building on 60mm bases. I like the bigger bases because you get more detail on them but they are for the most part too big for competition play locally. I'll post some pics when I finished them.
