Greetings,

Thanks for participating in the Ammobunker World Wide Campaign- The Battle for Ammoriss. This thread is for posting Batreps for the Month of October.

Here is some information you may find useful when posting a Batrep:

Each faction will have a primary, secondary, and tertiary objectives. The faction that completes the most objectives with the most control points will “win” the campaign.

SCORING
Factions score points by posting batreps in this thread.

A Faction earns control points by posting Batreps with the following scoring:
1.Winning BatRep for 40K is worth 30 points
2.Draw Batrep for 40K is worth 20 points
3.Loss Batrep for 40K is worth 10 points.
4.Apocalypse and Epic Armageddon Batreps provide +10 points no matter the result.
5.Playing against a fellow member of the Ammobunker, who also posts a report of the same battle, is +10 control points for both factions involved.
6.Kill team games, Inquisitor, and other specialist games are worth half as many control points.
7.Posting a narrative batrep is +5 control points.
8.Linking your batrep’s storyline with another posters storyline is worth +5 Control points.
9.Using Ammoriss specific rules is another +5 Control points. (i.e. you use the Jungle Fight rules)
10.Including a picture in your Batrep is worth +5 Control points.
11.You mention Ammoriss specific locations and details in your reports you earn +5 Control points.
12. Playing the Ammoriss specific mission of the month will earn you +5 Control points.

Example Basic Batrep:

Orks versus Space Marines- 40K- Orks won- Warzone 12
•This battle is worth 30 points for the Orks and 10 for the SM

Example Narrative Report:

Orks versus Space Marines- 40K- Orks won- Warzone 12
Baddakka unslung his shoota and lined up his shot. It was most unorky behavior. However, he knew that those beakies were shooty. The blue beakies were moving over a bridge, and Baddakka knew he needed to get to the other side. With a roar of “Waaaaagh!” Baddakka ane his boyz opened up.

The Beakies dove down to avoid the fire. Baddakka and his boyz slowly strode forward, shooting as they went. The beakies fire a few shots inreturn. Some weedy gitz dropped, claiming to be shot. Baddakka sneered in disgust. He was hoping enough beakies would be left to hit with his choppa when he got to their rifle line.

Baddakka and his boyz quickly closed the distance, and then sprinted forward. The beakies were good. They managed to kill several of his ladz, but he had more. Plenty more.

Baddakka cleared the blue beakies form the bridge. This left the way open for Badgrog’s battlewagons to roll across in a few hours. They would make a break for the Ridgeback Packing Corporations slaughter pens. The boyz were hungry for some grox meat.
•This battle report is worth 30 points for the orks and 10 for the Imperials base.
•The report is narrative so it has +5 Control points.
•The report links to Badgrog’s Stroyline for +5 Control points
•The report provides a named Ammoriss location for another +5 Control points.
•Therefore the Control point totals from this battle report are Orks 45 and Imperials 10.

Therefore, adding the bonus points will greatly enhance your campaign point totals.

You can find this information and more in The Battle for Ammoriss Sourcebooks: http://www.box.net/shared/8lnb73nd2l

Good luck.

Ok here is a link to a battlereport I made of my Black Templars. I played against space wolves, so for narrative purposes they will be a feral renegade chapter. A few questions: do the vassal images count as pics? Does the fluff piece below count as a narrative battlereport?

Warzone: 7 Kings Island

Imperial vs Chaos

the batrep

After hearing the reports from the Great Wood the Templars immediately rerouted to Kings Island. A pack of woodsmen had stumbled upon a chaos camp. It seemed that a group pf renegade space marine barbarians, the So'clox Dread Wolves, had planned to surprise assault the Imperial Estate, cutting off the head of the imperial forces. As the templars were arriving on the island the private security forces of numerous estates started being attacked by the power armoured enemies. When the Templars asked for aid from the local forces, the private security forces refused to co-operate, rather cowering behind their walls. The small PDF forces were in no position to provide full-scale offensives, but those that could be spared, were sent in as support.
Requests for Ad-Mech support from Red Peak or Polar Station Zeta, have been ignored, the Ad-Mech refusing to leave their prized drilling platforms.

Marshal Heslak prepared his claws for the charge towards the enemy lord, who was pinned down behind one of the traitor transports. Although he had lost his emperors champion and Dreadnought brother Seilakus, the blunt of the chaos forces had been stopped. Now the remains of them were scattered around their commander.

The PDF forces had arrived in the sector and were in the middle of pouring away at the vile wolf lord. He consolidated the positions of his men and ordered them to charge. He and his squad sergeant, Xavier, charged up the side of the rhino and onto the wounded chaos warlord.

The traitor swinged his claws at sergeant Xavier, but luckily the holy terminator armour held. Heslak launched himself at the traitor, blades swirling and cut the half-wolf down.

he turned to watch as the rest of the Imperial lines advanced. Squad Mortis was battling against some traitor jumppacks, while his mechanised units moved in to secure the area. The PDF had taken the ridge behind them and the last of the traitors were broken.
