Just saw these on BoLS and thought they looked nifty![]() I have always wanted to do tallarn and so i hope these are a plastic kit not a 10 man metal kit like the vostroyans. I also hope this is the start of GW redoing all of the old guard factions ie; Mordians, Praetorians and the rumoured greatcoat guard. Although the complete lack of mention of praetorians in the new codex dampens my hopes for that one. Many of you may have seen these but i hadnt and this is a mainly guard forum so... Also there was a pic of the Elysian buggy thing although it was blurry so i didnt take that one. Does anyone know of a better pic of that? J5 |

Yeah look in the FW new stuff thread, there's pics in there. I like the tallarn, always one of my favourite regiments and wanted to do them but the models look a bit dated so these new ones are nice too see. |

They're unlikely to be plastic, mainly because they're not three ups. In all likelihood they were a project for a new sculptor to prove himself on, which is a shame cos they're great figures. That said, if they were to be released they'd either be limited run metal, like the Vostroyan range, or ForgeWorld would release them as part of an expanded Tallarn range. Edit: Mother[well, someone needs a cool off period]er! Ninja'd three times! Dave out. Edited by highmarshaldave, 27 Sep 2009, 08:17 PM.

Can't imagine they'll actually get released. They'll end up being longed for, but never come out. |

It's a shame really because that flamer guy is really nice work. Not overly keen on the other two though. |

HMD - interesting you should mention the three ups; In the seminar I went to they mentioned in passing they no longer need to do three ups to make a mould. |
