As the topic says, well-known comedian and action transvestite Eddie Izzard has run 43 (last one today) marathons across the UK in the last 52 days. I cannot comprehend the effort required, and I'm amazed I've only just heard about it.

Had he enjoyed it? “I liked the stopping,” he said. He then excused himself to go and take an ice bath. “I’m going to have a party somewhere that’s dry and then I’m going to sleep for a week,” he said./quote]

Despite being a fan of Eddie, i've not heard of this up until now. Well done to him.

Would of been funnier if he did the last section in heels though......

Apparently he went from running each one in ten hours down to five. Not sure how good his thighs and calves will look in stockings and suspenders now...

IMO the funny bit drifted out of his standup a while back but I still like Izzard himself, just not Izzard the comedian. He seems like a good bloke.

Well I hope he's still funny, as I've got tickets for his tour in November

He might be still funny to you, just not to me. I'm difficult to amuse.

I'll admit he lost a lot of his edge when he 'Americanised' and pretty much dropped his Transvesite image but i'm still looking forward to it.
