I have a small question about the Ork vehicle upgrade Red Paintjob, how much do you think I have to paint red and so? Some people seem to think the entire vehicle must be red for it too count but as I play Goffs, red doesnt go that well with their doctrines. Thoughts? |

First off, it depends on who you are playing. I want a came scheme for my orks, but also want red paint job. So of course, I couldn't use this at a tournament. However, in casual play, I can't see it matters much. Obviously you have to get your opponents consent. Could you not use a red "go-faster" stripe down the side, might keep everyone happy. |

I would expect a reasonable amount, but not necessarily the whole vehicle, because like yourself, I don't believe that an Ork's "Need for Speed" addiction should totally override clan affiliation either - I'm sure over time a Speed Freak ork would begin to paint more and more of it red in a logical progression (in their mind) of making it faster and faster, but would they stop being a loud Goff or a rich git Bad Moon? I doubt it. So a fair amount of bodywork I'd like to see done, if it was me, in order to convey the sense that the owner is sufficiently an addict that the psychological effect becomes true and it goes faster - it takes a lot of belief to manifest as I see it, because its a psychic factor more than an engineering one. My current planned Blood Axes won't be having any though, so I don't plan on using the bonus myself. |

What if you painted the engine red. It'd be sizable enough to notice and be the most important part to want to paint in order for the vehicle to go faster. Khrangar |

I would hope that the engine is enough, theres isnt really anything in the rules saying what the Red Paintjob must be, so I thought that the engine would be enough, you know like the old Volvo B20 and B21 red motors, it makes it go, so red makes it go fasta. |

Maybe some different kinds of red, I don't think orcs keep their tanks and vehicles in such a good condition that they will look everywhere the same? |
