Hey Guys, Hows it going? I started up a painting log describing my ongoing quest to finish a 3000 pt Space Marine force, but I'm running it a small problem. There isn't many people visiting it. i do try my best to keep up with updates and picture posts. But since i put my last post up i haven't had any posts. ? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Feel free to check out my Log and let me know Thanks, EaglesWings |

I will write you something up in a bit but most of my suggestions will fall into either "Make your Plog more user friendly" and "Practice, Practice, Practice..." I will give examples in your Log... (actually been meaning to say something since Sunday or Monday... Sorry... I've been a bit off...)

Thanks Dean, I know you've posted on my progress before, and you shouldn't apologise for not posting. Everyone is busy at times, i dont expect everyone to post after every update. I would just like someone too. Thanks Again, especially for the advice EaglesWings |

It happens to just about everyones logs mate so don't worry about it. There are times when lots of people will reply and sometimes no one will. Just keep posting your work and people will start to reply to you. You can always ask advice and things like that in your log and people should reply more. Just because people aren't replying doesn't mean they aren't looking, I'm terrible sometimes for looking at logs and not posting! Keep at it tho. |

The other thing that helps to end on a question. Force the reader to actively engage with your plog, rather than looking at the nice pictures and skimming through the words. Also, as has been pointed out, don't lose heart. And try to do new and exciting things, rather than just letting your plog stagnate into some sort of routine. Dave out. |

Asking for opinions on a colour scheme or conversion is always a dead cert, or asking which of your units you should paint next. Its not really a foolproof solution; indeed, nothing is on this digital wilderness of ours. Still, could be worth a try. Oh, and put a link to your plog in you sig. Never fails. Dave out. |

Post questions in other peoples plogs gets you noticed.... You asked over the weekend in my plog how I do the bone and I answered you then went and had a look at your plog again and that's when I meant to have a word with you about your Plog.... But I've been sick this week... Above all do not get discouraged. Take pride in your own work and use the Plog as a yardstick of "This is where I started, Look how far I've come".... yeah, dont be put off by people not commenting. it may be like talking to a brick wall at times, especially when you see other peoples logs shoot up by a page after one update. you are still new, your log is still young. keep on with the updates, and post in other peoples when you feel like it, whether it be a question or a "wow, thats cool". occasionally people will return the favour
