Greetings, So far month two of the Battle for Ammoriss has been pretty quiet. I expected more activity during the summer months, so I am a bit surprised by the lack of games being played this month. I guess people of this board are too busy getting ready to go back to school? Anyway, the only major change is in Warzone 11, the city of Pierefoy has shifted from being a contested city to slightly under Imperial control thanks to an air offensive by the North and their Imperial Navy allies. Bombers have begun indescrimately bombing the city, not caring if they hit friend or foe. Since, the majority of the Imperial defenders were holed up in the Arcopolis, the bombing campaign has been successful in forcing the Chaos attackers onto the back foot. Chaos fighter sorties have been unable to stem the amount of bombs being dropped. Even now, Northcomm is rumored to be planning an attempt to land troops into Pierefoy via air drop, and to extract Confessor Wulfenberg from the city. Rumors are circulating that he has discovered war changing information and must be saved. Overall, Imperial forces have managed to hold the Initiative in the Battle for Ammoriss despite the best efforts of Chaos and Xeno forces. However, the heretic and the alien are far from beaten. Inquisitor Brochlaughn himself has speculated that they are simply bidding their time to let the Imperial over stretch themselves. Then, attack for decisive effect. Only time will tell. Warzone Overview: Warzone 1- The Heart of Ammoriss- Imperial Warzone 2- Spine of the North- Imperial Warzone 3- Iron Valley- Imperial Warzone 4 - Alset Mountains- Orks Warzone 5- Fortress North- Xeno Harvesters Warzone 6- Vostoch Archipelago- Xeno Harvesters Warzone 7- King's Island- Contested Warzone 8- Riderback Massif- Chaos Warzone 9- Verdant Strip- Contested Warzone 10- Savage Coast- Imperial Warzone 11- Pierefoy- Imperial Warzone 12- New Frontier- Imperial Warzone 13- Parched Land- Chaos Warzone 14- Polar South- Contested Warzone 15- Greater Ammoriss- Xeno Collectors Warzone 16- Bunkra II- Contested Imperial Forces are 1 Warzone away from completing one of their Objectives, to control 7 or 16 warzones on Ammoriss. Will anyone be able to stop them? http://s3.zetaboards.com/The_Ammobunker/forum/3000941/ Edited by Easy E, 19 Aug 2009, 06:14 PM.

Ammoriss Batreps now count for 5 points in the "Tale of" scoring, where regular Batreps count for 2 points. http://s3.zetaboards.com/The_Ammobunker/single/?p=8099279&t=7195520 |
