Not sure about the mass of parchment and purity seals on the heavy flamer chap though; looks like a bit of a health and safety nightmare.

in the grim darkness of the far future there is no politically correct or H&S bull[Not on the floor please] :D

Nothing from me that hasn't been said before. I got into 40k through spacehulk, I'll be getting it again.

I'll have to wait until payday before preordering though, just spent £500 getting my rusty zafira fixed AGAIN.

It's a shame GW didn't let out more about this release.....yeah they have hyped it up more by keeping the lid on but the WEB is free advertising for them.....I'm glad my local GW manager was right again, I asked about this last week and he wouldn't confirm nor deny it, like he did before the stompa and Baneblade release. I'm off to ask him about the plastic thunderhawk gunship now.....

Does anyone know whatscale these minis are? In the pictures they appear to be larger than 28mm.

28mm but not on normal bases. By the look of the box content they come in two colour plastic (blue nids and red BA's) so all this pre painted buisness is rubbish.

I'm happy with this release, I just thought the "while stocks last" would be on the first batch of Xthousand. Maybe like the limited 5th edition rulebook, with a normal edition released afterwards/alongside.

I wonder if it will just be GW direct/their web store you can get this from or if many of the web stores are getting stock???

This has just gone straight to the top of my wish list. Was about to do a forge world order, but that may have to wait now for a bit, just can't make my mind up................

damn. I wants. but 2 things stop me. the first is the fact i dont have 60 quid to spend on more termies, and the second is the fact that the BA insignia means that i will probably screw something up when removing them, so it would screw up the models. im just going to have to let this go and focus on guard :(

Sabrina just preordered a copy at the store and they told her the deposit only holds it day of release.

I shouldn't be surprised by GW, but I still am.

What of the £60 I gave you last week? You can't have spend that on top hats already!

While this set if good, and i've pre-ordered 2 through the website, What amazes me most is that these are PLASTIC. The detail is superb for plastic miniatures. PLus I'm pretty sure thats a terminator apothecary.

I get excited quite easily by new minis but this has me giggling away like a schoolgirl, all teary eyed nostalgia too! Mrs G gets paid on Tuesday so I'll be buying one for me straight away, christ I hate being skint! I might even get wee gonzo one too, seeing how he has started his tau again...

You lose your deposit if you don't pick it up on the day of release?
