They still have about 25 copies and have been instructed to send 10 to better performing stores
Emphasis mine... Outch? Manager looking for work soon?

He said they were sent 70 copies including their advanced orders, thats more than stores with 4 times the customer turnover. If they are already selling online for £100+ before stores have sold out then I may buy a third for the future

i played my first 3 games today :)
first 2 as stealers on the first 2 missions, both comfortable wins, whilst in the 3rd game we went back to mission 1 and swapped, with me losing :(
although Brother Goriel did take down 6 stealers over 2 turns in Overwatch, then another in CC before finally falling. some slight buggering up with a door stopped my rearguard termie shooting down one of the two stealers that tried to kill Brother Zael. Zael did kill the first one, but fell to the second :(

Had first game today, I was randomly selected to play as the marines and we were playing "suicide mission".

I can say from the off I was scared the first couple of turns went my way with 6s being rolled during shooting even combat going my way, I got into stick situtions as I got closer to the objective has Ben started to get rolls in his favour and I started to run out of action and command points at important moments.

Quickly I was down to 2 men one cover the back and my flamer. Desperation kicked I had to flmae my rear and a junction crammed with genestealers (thankfully clearing). flames died down I ran around the corner with the objective in sight I turn to flame and cover my rear success I was safe with a clear run to the objective, and I won just by the seat of my pants and only 3 shots with the flamer left

That chap trying to flog a copy on eBay for £175! Had no takers, so has slashed his prices back to a measly £99.

I saw one for £200, just stupid. Who cares if it's limited edition, it's simply never worth that.

I gave it a second chance and played with a friend the other day. First three missions, one side, then the other and had a lot of fun. I maybe just don't like the way GW staff demo games, cause I didn't like it the other time round. I think I'll still refrain though, I'd rather have a battleforce and now I know people that own it I can still play it. ;)

Cheers for the ad mate. :)

Yeah there is a whole heap of rules conversions being worked on by various different contributors on my site at the moment.
We've got Orks, power armoured marines, Tau, Chaos and Guard under development at the moment. The power armoured marines rules are brilliant fun, they get ripped to shreds when the stealers get their claws on them.
I can't wait to try out the guard rules, Aliens here were come.

I'm also working on Strike Force which is a conversion for fighting skirmish boarding action style games. It uses the regular hulk rules but you pick your forces from an army list rather than rely on scenarios.
One player is the attacker trying to capture/destroy objectives whilst the other is the defender trying to repel them.
So you can have chaos marines vs Navy ratings, marines vs Orks, Eldar vs Necrons, Guard Stormtroopers vs Tau whatever takes your fancy really.

I may have to converse with you on that. I've an idea brewing for Ammorriss, really need to get off my arse and write it though!

My pleasure mate. You are our official expert on all things Hulk it seems only right to refer someone to a specialist.

Dont forget our Eidos Game we did at GD last year, replace the genestealler with zombies and have teams of whatever (inquisition, naval boarding parties, mechanicus teams......) in lieu of termies set that on the Hulk board and....away you go!

Now, an inquisitor and his retinue would be a cool team to play, if a little short lived! May have to dust off my Deathwatch too....

Old Guard: Yeah that's definately the beauty of the rules I think, they can be extremely versatile and allow you to go beyond the hulk setting.

Digits: A team of Inquistiorial stormtroopers or death watch led by an Inquisitor would be great fun! I'm currently playing around with some ideas for adapting my power armoured rules for death watch teams, it allows them to use alternative ammo rounds for a higher AP cost.

am hoping to pick up a copy tomorrow that i have reserved, bout a 50 minute drive to pick it up though, if its not there then heads will roll.
am thinking the new space wolf termies will be gunning down some genestealers pretty soon.
also tempted to get some grey knights and daemons for a bit of variety, although 10 grey knight termies = new depths of poorness :'(
