175 quid? It's nice but who is really stupid or desperate enough to pay 175 for a board game?

The kind of person who will willingly pay £150 on flea-bay for a 20 year old boxed game with some conponents missing and photocopied rule/mission books. I kid you not it sold. Imagine how much a sealed SH will go for next christmas, or christmas 2029...

I got my box today at the local hobby store. Good thing I didn't want 2 because busing it back home would not have been fun.

I knew I shoud have got a second copy the other day - maybe I had best get my arse back to WHW to see if they have any left.

Im not sure on the whole multi buying aspect. I still have the Helms Deep scenery set in box, which spiked massively in price just after it came out on 'limited release'. But in time GW re-released it and the prices never recovered. They seem to be a bit wishy washy over some of their limited releases. There are many things that have never been re-done, Centurius, at-ease cadians and gamesday figures to name a few, whilst others have later appeared on the direct only section of the website, the dark angels veteran sgt being one example. What to do ................

The question is, what kind of cake?

I don't know, Doghouse doesn't strike me as the sort of fella that would lie about something as serious as cake.

It's not a question of what kind of person Doghouse is- until proven otherwise, the cake is a lie.

Although I would love a delicious lemon drizzle, regardless of the credibility of the source.

Fair comment, though I am concerned by the growing admiration for Lemon Drizzle?

Whats wrong with chocolate fudge?

i cant stand lemon drizzle, or most forms of lemon, so chocolate fudge had better be it ;)

Chocolate fudge has my vote too, with a bit of whipped cream on the side.

So I've rather madly announced that I'm marrying a box of plastic miniatures and you guys are worried about what type of cake I'm serving???

...It'll be wedding cake of course. ;)

I'm afraid I'll have to throw my vote in with the lemon drizzle crowd on this one.

of course we are worried about the cake. madness like that is commonplace around here. like Gonzo saying he will do the Howling Griffins first company. madness, but acceptable.

never had wedding cake, but anythings got to be nicer than lemon drizzle, apart from christmas cake
