I'd sort of prefer it if instead Will Ferrell curled up into a ball and died.

Friends who have seen Moon says it's very good. I'll wait for DVD though.

I probably will too. Mind, I like the Moon. Be nice to see it on the big screen...

I watched GI Joe, the first part of the film is really good then it just kind of burns out as it becomes a standard run of the mill "to heck with orders we never leave a man behind" kind of thing.

It's an ok popcorn munching film but I was a little disapointed by the eventual corny plotline.

When I was a kid it was called "Action Force" though.

It was called 'Action Force' at first over here but then changed to GI Joe as I recall. I'll see GI Joe, I'm not expecting Citizen Kane so I won't be disapointed. As you say, good popcorn muncher.

I plan to pick up In the Loop on DVD. The TV show (called The Thick Of It) is the best political satire for decades.

I actaully eat my words. I saw GI Joe the other night and though it was by far the dumbest film I have ever seen, it was also very entertaining. :)

Was going to mention that myself, but I didn't think it was out this year. Looks stunning, though. Very excited!

I saw GI Joe the other week - it's not going to win any oscars or anything, but it was a good fun action blockbuster that my whole family enjoyed. Plus Snake Eyes was a kick-ass as I always imagined (and hoped) he would be in the GI Joe movie I wanted them to make back when I was a 12 year old...

Hoping to see 'The Hurt Locker' next week; after that I'm really looking forward to seeing District 9, it looks excellent. I envy our American friends who have already been able to see it for nearly 2 weeks!

What I've seen of Iron Man 2 looks stonking.

I had high hopes for Whiteout as I love the comic it's based on, but it looks to be dire.

Avatar is being heavily merchandised in a similar vein to star wars. The chopper toys and exo-suits I've seen could easily be converted for 40k purposes.

I did watch "The Battle for Terra" today which is kind of similar but nowhere near as impressive.
It was ok I guess.
