catching up last pages i dont go to films expecting to see brilliance, especially after Alien vs Predator: Requiem, which was pathetic. the last 2 Paramount + Hasbro films about toys i've seen have been good, so adding that to the trailer where a large amount of damage is done to France (almost always good in my book ), and a certain couple of actresses, it was worth a go. unless you are a complete movie freak, there is a chance you would find something you enjoy in it.and it is better than the Power Rangers movies. i have both of the ones that were actually made as movies, so i should know ![]() [/rant] Edited by Brambleten, 12 Aug 2009, 08:54 PM.

yes! it certainly wasnt the power ranger bit. you need to let all things french into your heart young brambleten. Everything seems so much cleare and more relaxed afterwards. just avoid the snails and the Frogs legs! Horse steak rocks though (awaits the idignation of horse lovers.....Euwww there was a song about that!) |

Thing I don't get about that twenty twelve film thing is that the Myans never predicted the end of the world in their calander. Their calander just ends on December 21st 2012 and everyone seems to assume that it's the end of the world. This latest offering by tim burton looks different, kind of like little big planet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnoJecu9e7c The latest Peter Jackson film looks different as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6PDlMggROA&feature=related |

Bad dog! not paying attention to my first post! that said yeah it does look rather interesting. Emmerich is just obsessed with armagedon. he can have his own private one if he wants and leave the rest of us in peace. suits me! Not seen that bram |

Just don't bother with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Ack. I'm really interested in 'District 9' though I suspect from the trailer that it'll be trowelling it's rather obvious allegory on thick. I'm also interested a film coming up starring Sam Rockwell called 'Moon'. Looks to have the feel of 'Silent Running' which is always good by me.
