Its much simpler than the first run of grind - and a cheap excuse to try magnets!

I'm already into Warmachine (actually got started in 2003, when it was new, but lack of time and opponents delayed things) and this looks good - far better value for me than yet another retread of the same game of Spacehulk (I already have the previous two versions and am not OCD enough to need the third). The Jacks in Grind "aren't designed to be compatible with WM" but are the same scale and at least of a similar style to some cygnar 'jacks (I play Cygnar) that people WILL use them as 'proxies' for some models if they don't like the originals. |

I've only skimmed over the galleries as I don't know much about WM at all (I'm still learning) but what makes me incompatible? |

I'm assuming in English that's what makes the jacks in Grind incompatible (rather than Antipope outing himself as a giant robot) and it's because the Grind jacks don't have the same armament as WM jacks. WM figures all come with a card which establishes what they are armed with and where on their person it is. So damage to the left arm is done to whatever weapon a jack is armed with so consistency is important. It'll make sense if you see Warmachine in play. And if anyone is in Leeds tomorrow there are demoes all day at Travelling Man

This came out today so I should have pictures of the set my missus picked up for me. Might actually get a game (unlike Space Hulk). |

£50 I think. Travelling Man have copies so you could try them if you're after it. |

Definitely £50 - though TM are doing it for £45 this week. Pictures up tomorrow. Hopefully get my first game on Sunday. Once I figured how the models clip together they became a whole lot easier to put together and the weapons do indeed clip in and out to let them be swapped. I was going to get another set to convert, but PP just announced plastic warjack kits for each faction. http://privateerpress.com/ Multi variants and loads of conversion potential. |

This looks really good. The new plastic warjack kits that they are bringing out look excellent though, especially the Khador and Cygnar kits. I can see them being included in Ad-mech armies. I might have to get one just to see how they are in person. |
