Well the question is this, I am looking at adding a Damocles Command Rhino to my Ultramarine vets. While I like the idea of orbital barrage the thought of a vulture with punisher cannons doing strafing runs on mass troop armies is very tempting. I play alot of armies that have mass troops IG,Orks, Nids and such so there are times I am overwhelmed with horde's. Would this be a good idea to thin out the ranks. I have enough normal firepower to take out tanks so I wouldnt want to take heavy weapons with it. I also have two sets of rocket pods as well I could swap out as needed. Do you guys feel that the point cost is justified and taking a heavy slot on my table. Regular games might not be a good idea but in apocolypse games it might do well enough. |

Possibly for the shock factor, though I'd imagine it'd be a bit of a one-trick-pony and most opponents would get wise after the initial OMG/WFT moment. I had a similar experience with Inquisitorial Storm Troopers in Valkyries in my marine force. Dave out. |
