Can anyone tell me what the strength / ap is for rending claws and scything talons.

Also, with Space Marines, what is the strength for a sword / chain sword?

i dont know about tyranids, but power swords/chain swords are taken at the strength of the user, so for a marine they are str 4, for a guardsman, str 3

you need to get the rulebook mate, it clears up a lot of stuff such as what strength close combat attacks are made at, how toughness works etc.

the tyranid weapon varies based on the users strength with a + or - modifier hmmm, i might be wrong, i think that's for shooting which applies to spine fists.

when in combat models using spine fists/scything talons would attack with a strength equal to the users (as with all CC weapons (unless stated otherwise (power fists for example) iirc spinefists are a 12" ranged weapon assualtX1 (maybe X2) that strike at a +1 strength to the user (i think that's right)

obviously if you have the codex now you know what it means you'll be able to work out the right numbers, i'm trying to remember my codex from about 2 years ago so i'm probably wrong on the small details, but the overall gist is right.

ranged weapons vary, some are based on the strength of the user, some arent. some have a max strength limit.

Unless otherwise stated, all nid CCWs hit at users strenght as per normal CCW
