Crazy isn't it. I've often seen second hand FW go for more on eBay than the FW retail price. I have wondered if it's because not everyone has heard of FW, so don't know how much it's worth. But if they're into GW stuff then surely they would. Maybe they just can't be arsed with all the work of cleaning and putting them together? |

I've noticed this as well. I think it may be the shipping time that puts people off going direct but that squigoth is taking the mick. I seriously hope they know it's epic scale though. I was a bit surprised for the price someone paid me for eight militia torsos on ebay which was more than you'd pay if you got it from forgeworld. |

Where they outside the UK? Many outside the UK will pay slightly more than the RRP for FW due to FW charging 15% for overseas postage. Even after paying the cost for airmail they still get the parts cheaper. I have sold plenty of unbuilt FW stuff on ebay and either broken even or made slightly more than I paid for them (as I got them at events and paid no postage myself). I think in this case people couldn't of understood the Epic bit, you can't blame the seller for that, he has it in the correct category and put 'Epic' in both the title and the description. |

The only thing that's 'Rare' about it is that is the old box art, pre Tau Empire. Even so that is seriously taking the mick. The other thing that always makes me laugh re Ebay and Forgeworld is when people list old catalogues as collecters items. |

can you pay with paypal on FW? if not, then thats probably a good reason why people buy stuff on ebay, as they can use paypal |

Are you having a giraffe*??? Like alex says it means you got to be kidding! ![]() In my limited experiance of selling stuff it surprises me just how much Arbites go for. I made over a hundred quid for twenty of them in four seperate sales. Second edition Blood Bowl stuff goes quite well, sold nine elf players for thirty quid and Rogue Trader jump packs are silly, I sold six in two sales of three for over seventy quid! The ones that make me laugh are the "pro-painted" sales. I wouldn't dare advertise something as pro-painted. *Having a laugh/not being serious/taking the mick |

Given all the reason's why people pay above retail on ebay (foreign sales, paypal, innocently uninformed gift-buying, stupidity etc.), I wonder what will happen now GW is banning it. I'm sure they think that people are going to move on to their online store, but will they just lose these sales instead? |
