Heya, quick question, is it legal to use those cool looking 30mm lipped bases in 40k? I really hate the GW ones, they're bland and ugly and I want to base my Eldar force on shiny sexy 10 x 30 mm Rock Slate Bevelled Bases. I also want to do a |

im pretty sure the rules state that models have to be based on the base size they come with or bigger, so for people on 25mm, 30mm is fine |

Yes, you could. Watch, however, that you don't get caught out with using non GW parts when gamin in GW. Just a warning. . . Dave out. |

The guys at my GW are pretty mellow, and I'm bigger than two of them anyway. I'm going to make a 60mm scenic base for Taldeer, and have a 30mm round slot in it which I can use to base Taldeer, then when I want to use her in a game I can take her off it and have her on a more reasonable sized base. Hooray! Now I just need someone to sculpt me a female Farseer with no helm and long hair >_> |
