Hey guys

Can anyone recomend some Photo editing software that is both free and easy to use.
Its for my brother i swear.

not sure if its free, but i got arcsoft photostudio thrown in with a printer i bought a coupla years back, might be worth investigating. Of course there are ways and means of aquiring software, but thats not for here...

Picasa 3 I believe has crop/resize, it has a variety of other editing also. It's free : http://picasa.google.com/

Use gimp, its photoshop, but easier to use and is open source..

Yeah, GIMP is really good, being essentially the same as Photoshop.

I prefer photoshop, but that's obviously either really expensive or illegal...

i use a freebie called digitial photo resizer. i found it after using google. it sounds like what you're after. you can in crease the size of ab image with it.

Only problem I have with GIMP is I can't get rid of red eyes that aren't red due to the subject having contacts....

If its as simple as cropping and resizing see if he has Microsoft Office Photo Manager installed - I've never had any problems with it for simple stuff
