Hey Doghouse, I love your models mate, tis crap that this guy is trying to sell them as his own creation. While I'm not really a fan of your method of truescaling from a GW point of view (thats not me dissing them, its just not my cup of tea - I prefer the way CMDante and I do it), I cannot find fault with your models in a modeling sense, and they look damn cool to boot. :D You should be proud of what you've created :)

I think what you've got here is a clashing of motives unfortunately. We in the modeling and painting community are generally always trying to improve our skills and achieve a multitude of different effects be it realism, faithfulness to the art and fluff or just plain coolness. As with many other creative communities, we're all more than happy to share our techniques and encourage others to have a go or see what they can do with it.

However, if you're looking to make money from this community then your best bet is to look at the most popular modifications and then try to market it as a service. I've worked for almost 10 years in the graphic design and publishing industry and in any field there will always be people looking to cash in on a good idea with a sly bit of rebranding or remarketing and little else.

While the charlatan does have the skill and I'm sure there are people who would pay for his services, I think the only real way you could take action is as you said; offer to do truesacling service yourself for less or maybe set up a small site as the "Home of Truescaling" with all your tutorials and everything Doghouse on one site. I'm sure it'd get a great response.

But realistically, as the others have said, when anyone talks of Truescaling, your name always comes up and the number of people who are standing up for you in the forums is testament to this. Personally, seeing your early World Eaters was one of the things that got me back into the hobby after a 15-odd year break!

The community of creative modders, kitbashers and inventive loons who make things for the sheer hell of it is what makes this hobby great.
