Dammit, I'm not home until Thursday...

And if no one else wants to be the team captain of Europe, I could propose to him (But I will need help and as we are a democracy we will not have a dictator).

Hey guys... this time I'm in. Put me on Team Europe... my hart is still in Poland.

Oh and if my team members would be so kind and tell me what I should do to keep them updated on the minis I paint... be gentle it's my first time painting for points.

Skud - what does that stand for mate?

It stands for: Secrets of the third reich! (A WWWII game)

I think maelstrom, adhepsive foot... also plays it...

You can read more of it on this page!

ah, my mistake, thinking you had mistyped it. with the questions i have seen about WotR, and with W being just above S, i made a (bad) guess.

Did I miss it, but would War of the ring be allowed and I assume same scoring system as 40k?

Well those models are slightly smaller aren't they? Maybe they could be something like 0.8 points each?

hm, I think I'll be joining this one here. I've got SoTR coming my way soon that needs painting as well as a total of 2 "challenges" should get me going nicely with the rest of my 2000pts fantasy army for open bash '10.

So, do I join here or in the respective sub-section? If here, sign me up for europe :)

Yeah I also got Sotr soldiers soon, and I don't feel like painting GW miniatures.

But I don't know really, my order may be late :-/
In that case I will join up a month later... :'(

So... Is it to late to join? I heard about this from my dear friend Cassora yesterday, and when he said that there where points for FoW models aswell, well then I where all ears!

Would be fun with another challange, and I need to support my brothers in the "rest of europe" ;) I am not to keen on the points for FoW models though. Not that it matters realy... But time wise, painting one base of FoW models takes just about as much time as with one 40k model (Always depends on how much time you put on them, but I would say most paint 4-5 small figures in the same time as one big). So I feel that 1/2 point for every base isn't to fair... That would give a regular 10 base Fallschirmjäger platoon only 5 points, just as much as a 5 man space marine squad. And trust me, you usualy paint 5 space marines/guardsmen/whatever quicker then 10 bases of FoW models!

Just thought I'd get that off my heart, and no it's not only because I will paint FoW models, I bet there are others out there aswell. Cheers!

So, you turn up late and start complaining about the points!!!!! I used to paint 20mm WW2 figures and I based the allocation on how long it took me to paint them vs a 28mm mini. I turned them out very quickly by comparison.

A number of other FoW guys confirmed the points with me too.

You'll just have to churn out lots of tanks to make up for your lack of speed bud!

lol
