RE is one of the better exams, if you had a good teacher. good luck to all doing GCSEs and A-Levels (ive got 10 AS exams left :( )

DK: the best thing about maths and physics/chemistry is that most of what you need to remember are formulae, and if you cant, then most of it is still logical. however, biology was annoying.

Just done the RE exam. Easiest thing ever. I'm not showing off either!

Brambleten: Cheers for the uplift, I desperatly need it!

Thing is with Chem/Phy/maths, Its all formule, but you need to remeber it which can be hard for me. Biology is the easiest of the three for me, but I seem to get better marks in Physics...

what exam board are you doing the sciences for? AQA? if so you should only have 1 module of each left, so you should only have a little left to do, with the rest in the bag.
i only got an A in RE, but that was probably because i argued that Nuclear weapons were supported by the just war theory. :$

My cousin started his GCSE's today.

How come this thread didn't exist when I did my Uni finals like 2 weeks ago? Or is that just my silly Uni doing things before everyone else. Silly semesters, we used to be after everyone, now we are before them!

Good luck everyone though!

Brambs i am AQA, but i am part of an accelerated group and so started a year early.
The benefit of this is that we get certificated for biology, chemistry and physics seperatly and they sneek in half a AS level in a new topic called science in society.

And just war theory, thats part of religon peace and justice did you do full course RE? I am one of only six in our school who actually do it. Its a same coz its such an easy grade.

no, i didnt do full course, my short course had that in it. i would only have taken full course if i hadnt been able to take Art, which i wouldnt have taken had i the chance to take IT, but no, my stupid school waits til the year after i start my GCSE's to introduce it. [/rant]

as for science and society, that sounds too much like general studies and questions on global warming mixed together

I do full course RE (OCR), and I'm also AQA for Sciences. I already have 2 As in Bio/Chem and an A* in Physics, so I'm in good stead with my Sciences at the moment.

I have a C with my Maths at the moment though, hoping to get at least a pass.

Got 2 days till my Spanish Exam, so I have plenty of time to revise, and mabye start painting in breaks again.

Really? Here you don't have to remember them - we get them in a data book - but we have to know the correct place to apply them, and a huge part of our Higher exam is explaning why things happen.

good luck to all those north of the border doing highers too ;)

just realised i have my physics ISA tomorrow. basically practical then exam for those who dont know how the new science works. the title of the ISA is "internal resistance", which means we will be trying to work out the internal resistance of a battery. its a pity i am pathetic at electricity. out have come the revision guides though. im not sure how much help "AS physics in a week" will be for one night though :-/
