If Rogue Trooper was a jungle fighter, he'd be blue. So far, I have these troops for a Genetic Infantry army I am slowly building up. I thought I'd show them here because these Void troops make great IG proxies: Squad 1: ![]() Squad 2: ![]() Some characters (from Heresy Miniatures): ![]() I have another squad on the painting table and a few more stragglers to paint before I have to get creative. Hope you like them .

Very nice to see someone doing this. I had the idea to make a Rouge Trooper out of a Vindcare Assassin but I like the idea of an army of them. |

I am not up to scratch on other model systems etc and as a result often have little interest in them coz they are diff from GW lol. But these look good, well painted. Even if they are blue skinned humans Looking good though. |

Yep, I visit the Dallimore site quite often and the Rogue Trooper bits and pieces are very cool. I have some of the Future Wars stuff from Copplestone and planned to use them at some point for this project...when the Void troops run out of course .

If you are not keen on the sickle mag, there are always the Viridian Marines:![]() ![]() ![]() These will be following on from the VASA ones I've done so far. I have about 20 and they will be considered 'normal grunts' whereas the VASA marines will be more veteran. (NOTE - These are not my pix, they are from the Scotia Grendel site...they sell VOID 1.1 stuff ).

Where's the little VTOL thing from? I like it - could be a cool little sentinel stand it. |

The VTOL will be available soon from: http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk I was lucky enough to get sent a pre-production casting. The undercarriage and weapons haven't been made for it yet so I had to make my own. When it gets released I would suggest that the undercarriage and weapons will look much better/different to this one so don't base too many opinions on what I have made .I have given my VTOL a pair of speakers on the front so that it is a tribute to Apocalypse Now (where the helicopters play 'The Ride Of The Valkyries' as they shoot up a village). That means that when the proper kits get released with their standard weapons/undercarriage, it won't matter that this one is a bit different! I think it will make a great Sentinel proxy as well...here's a couple of scale shots (from Antenociti's Workshop...they sculpted the VTOL): ![]() ![]() The miniatures are both 28mm from Hasslefree. UPDATE: Finished Pic (check the blog for more piX):

I've started a few Gaunts...![]() I've just base coated and washed them so far but they won't be 'display standard' as I don't plan on going mad on them .There is a bigger pic on my blog .

Work has continued on the Nids. Six have gone a stage further:![]() and a further 8 have gone 2 stages further: ![]() The 8 Gaunts above are a mix of Termagant bodies with Genestealer Scything Talons. All of my Tyranids are claws and jaws only...no ranged attacks at all. I have done this to represent a more animalistic style of Tyranid that could be considered a species living on a planet rather than a genetically modified uber-organism floating around the galaxy, eating everything. A bit like the Catachan Devil (believed to be of Tyranid stock). There is a bigger pic of the 8 here: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d161/Inso/Aliens/DesTyr5.jpg Edited by Inso, 24 May 2009, 06:36 PM.
