also just a side note and a little of topic when GW make the sprues, do they ad on the date it was cast into the sprue? if so the Valk was made in 2008!
That is the copyright date and is generally when the mold was cut.

I'm not that keen on the current Thawk design, although the Thawk transporter is a bit better. I wonder if the kit will have options for both, or at least be available as both variants like the baneblade/shadowsword.

You know I only really get excited about minis with legs. I'm waiting on a plastic warhound :D

I haven't really got the room for one, but sod it! If they bring one out I'll buy it.
My force will look spanking with a T'Hawk. mmm mmm .

Just to point out, the plastic Valk was made prior to the plastic Baneblade, hence why it is an almost 100% FW copy.

Well a little update...

Talking to the guy who runs marauder games. His mates were at Nottingham and witnessed two chaps walk out of a room with a built plastic t'hawk! They saw they'd been seen and quickly did an about turn!

If they do come out, I'll be buying 3, and painting them in Glorius yellow...nothing like being subtle :D Though this means my plan to buy a Reaver at GD may be going down the pan so to speak.

Surely you could pick up a couple of resin T'hawks for the price of a Reaver? And you'd probably get more use outa of the planes.

Dave out.

I'll be getting one for my Templars if this does happen. Not before my Guard though..

Thankfully, the Soul Drinkers only have one thunderhawk by the end of the last book, so i either have to stop at one, or get more and say they are from the Imperial fists, and get an airbrush to spray them yellow

A bit of work on the "Angel" and you have a BA fortress, The old UM banner had Roubute with wings... Even the Emperor could be worked into that detail.....

Not that it wouldn't be cool, but I want you to be wrong on the plastic thunderhawk.
I'd have to start a marine army to justify it...or paint some not squat Inquisitors.

Am I the only one who thinks it's always been an unattractive model? Give me a plastic Warhound instead.
