Hi, does anyone know where to find the statue of a standing space marine that is often seen in the new rulebook? |

I remember reading in WD I think that the statues like that were made from the 3-up marines they make when sculpting figures, so I don't think you are gonna find one. One of the advantages of working at the GW studio I guess! |

That's what I remember hearing too. Resin casts of the 3 ups..... Umm. You could use Artemis from the Inquisitor range but that's an expensive piece of terrain right there... Try and sculpt it? If you don't feel confident I'm sure there are some guys on here who'd give it a shot. |

Entertainment officer...Meet the gang cos the boys are here.....

Yep.GW only. must say it really annoys me that they use 3 up stuff in the books and that, which we lesser mortals have no access to. Its a lost oportunity in sales too since if we are able to see that we can recreate what is on the page we are more likely to try and do so....well i am at least.. so sorry fella unless you can sculpt or have access to someone who can....... |

if GW did release the 3-up resin cast i think they would sell very well. (if FW got to do them empty your bank accounts) as hate to think what they would charge |

Try to get Inquisitor figure cheap on e-bay. You can do a astunning statue with one of them. I did one with Eisenhorn, worked ok for me. |

Yeah I would love to get my hands on one of those 3up models... I wanted a Inquisitor statue too but new one is way too expensive and I can't find any on eBay... (I wanted the guy in cape...some astropath or something). But you know what pains me more... the fact that GW never relised the 4th City of Death building... They use it all the time! ![]() Well finally we will see some more Imperial Guard Terrain. They will have some new defensive lines, landing pad and 2 story bunker like building that you can see in the new White dwarf. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry for stealing this tread but it gave the opportunity to give some of you guys some ideas of new stuff that you will be buying soon hahaha! |

That fourth building looks like it was a prototype, it has elements from them all, also with rounded sprue i think it is a prototype. Also there is a lack of detail that is present in the released buildings. |

I know whay you guys mean with the statues, I would love to have a few of those ... As for that 4th sprue, Id like that aswell, for the more "common" buildings, seems odd that a whole city would be so uber decorated in my mind. Those new terrain pieces look interesting though, hope they can be blended into Cities of Death. |

3-up statues would sell well, as has been said. Like the look of some of that new stuff, the defence line is my favourite - quite simple and easy but looks quite good. |

I don't think that building was a prototype. It has many features which are completely unique. I'm sure I remember reading it's planned for release at some point. |

Yeah it's a dark angel's bastion or fortress. I've heard that it's to be released as well. There was a guy over on WIP that did an amazing space marine statue for cities of death. |

Dito on that. Out of all the CoD stuff, that's the one I would have used the most - another bizarre marketing decision. |

It's not having a sprue like this, why I stopped working on my larger city buildings. I just didn't have any "normal" buildings for filler in the background. I made several "live" buildings for focus, but just needed something blah-ish... I would have bought these by the fistfull. |
