Hey all, Just a quick question, was wondering If anyone knows if the Emperor Class battleship is multipart? And if so are the launch bays and weapon batteries separate or part of the superstructure? Cheers Synge PS If this is in the wrong spot can a mod please move it. |

Multipart... Mucho multipart... Pain in [arse] to get to stay together. The frontal "Spine" of the ship requires a couple pins to get it to stay on. Yes the launch bays/batteries are the same plastic bits off of the crusier kits. 2000th post... |

the emperor does require a bit of skill to assemble, ive got some good photos kicking around somewhere, will see if i can find them to give you some help on assembly. The turrets/weapons batteries are all plastic parts compatible with the cruisers. Essentially you have: Main body, 2 engine blocks, 3 engine baffles, forward body including prow, dorsal spine, forward sensor thingies, bridge, the wing thing, smaller wing things and a few other parts, then the plastic pieces ![]() Hope that helps... |

Cheers guys that helps alot. Have been looking at building an Oberon Class Battleship and was trying to work out if could use the Emperor as a base. Now will just have to go and buy one to convert up. If you can find those pictures they would be greatly appreciated Dave38x.

back already, got back this morning... And Synge: The oberon is based on an emperor class, it has the same lack of front armour and front sensor suite that the emperor has, the emperor model is the base one. Will hunt for those pictchoors! Edit: How to assemble an emperor Edited by Dave38x, 4 May 2009, 09:39 PM.
