Today is the Australian and New Zealander national day of mourning and rememberance of our war dead, and to commenerate the day our nation was baptised in fire on the slopes of Gallipoli, Turkey on the 25th of April 1915.

Just when I was about to post something up. Thanks Sheep

Just come in from doing a vigil at the South Australian War Memorial, always a big thing for me. Dedicated to my great grandfather and his three brothers who all served with 27th batallion in France.

Lest we forget.
